Our academic programs in grades one through five are designed to challenge our students. The curriculum is rigorous and innovative. Students receive instruction in language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, geography, Modern Greek, art, music, library, and technology. With the understanding that children learn by connecting new experiences with prior knowledge, experienced teachers prepare activities to promote discussion, and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They integrate the different subject areas through a thematic approach so that learning is meaningful and relevant. Since children learn in different ways, our faculty presents concepts and skills using methods that reach each child. Small classes enable teachers to provide individual attention and to differentiate instruction.
